Yes, Deep Red said it correctly. The VL keys are installed into the Retail edition of the Office product by ospp.vbs. There are several very convenient tools for doing that without the necessity of having special IT skills. That way you would have all the licenses on hand and can use any key available. Cannot tell you the software name here, sorry. My pictures say enough.:)

No, the proper command executed in the CMD as admin is:
script "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /inpkey:xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx


Check to correct path to .vbs
The system wouldn't accept the VL key if you first do not install volume licenses to the office product retail installation.

slmgr.vbs及slui是负责Vista以上Windows系统的激活 对于部分Office版本原则上不支持（比如Office 2010），建议还是使用ospp.vbs安装密钥
命令行代码：

1. cscript "ospp.vbs所在路径" /inpkey:<你所需要安装的密钥>
